QUESTION
------------------------------------------------------
1. The sound stream sound garbled any suggestions
2. Im on a T1 LAN and behind a firewall is this why I cannot contact my station via the destiny media player? The web stream works but like I said is very garbeled. Also is there a way to contact my station via the destiny media player from behind a firewall
ANSWER
------------------------------------------------------
1, 3) Webstream is compressed down to 8 kHz 16 bit mono and is fixed at 24 kbps. Clipstream makes the best of the limitations of Java with those settings. Note that Clipstream/Webstream reaches over 95% of the on-line population instantly and can stream live through a web page, html email, or banner ad as well as through firewalls.
For better sound, tune in with the player.
2) The firewall may be the trouble. Settings in the DMP can be adjusted under: Options->Proxy Setting.
